Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection Engineer with a certification in API 620 for a critical double-walled storage tank inspection project at our Kakinada site. This role demands a professional with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in inspecting ammonia tanks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of double-walled storage tanks in accordance with API 620 standards.
• Evaluate tank integrity, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and inspection staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• API 620 certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in inspection engineering, with a focus on ammonia tank fabrication and storage.
• Proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to storage tank inspections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with structural and piping fabrication inspections.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within specified timelines.
